Profile
The profile section allows you to manage your personal information. You can access it here.
Profile picture and name
Upload a profile picture and set your display name. This is shown to other users in your workspace when you share agents, prompts, or collaborate in groups.
Changing your password
To change your password, click on “Change Password” in the profile section. Enter your current password, then set a new password and confirm it. Click “Save” to apply the change.
If you forgot your password, use “Forgot your password?” on the login page to receive a reset email.
If you signed up using SSO (Google, Microsoft, or SAML), your password is managed by your identity provider and cannot be changed in Langdock.
Changing your email address
To change your email address, contact support (support@langdock.com).
Preferences
Depending on your experience and your preferences, you can configure your account to suit your individual needs.
You can select a default model. This model is selected in every new chat unless you change it in the top left corner.
You can enable or disable chat capabilities like web search, image generation, data analysis, canvas, and chat memory. Without the ability, no chat in your account will be able to use the according capability.
Below that, you can set the app language. Currently, we support English and German.
Shared chats
Shared chats lists conversations you shared with your workspace or Langdock Support. You can open shared chats, stop workspace link sharing, and revoke active support shares.
To share a conversation with Support, open the chat, click Share, select Support, and click Share with Support. This gives authorized Langdock personnel access to your messages, tool calls, agent instructions, attachments, and logs for debugging. Support shares expire automatically after 72 hours. On dedicated deployments, the Support option is not available.
Custom Instructions
You can add information about yourself or how the answers should be written in the settings. This text applies to all messages you send to an AI model. In the resources section, you find a guide with examples of what to add in custom instructions to.
