Preferences

Depending on your experience and your preferences, you can configure your account to suit your individual needs. You can select a default model. This model is selected in every new chat unless you choose another model in the chat input bar. When your workspace makes them available, your Web Search and Image Generation settings apply to regular and Project chats. You can enable or disable these settings in Account Settings. Chat Memory is available in regular chats only and is unavailable in Project and Agent chats. Agent chats use the Agent’s own capability settings. You can also choose an image generation model when more than one is available, enable Find integration actions automatically (early beta), choose a Theme of System (default), Light, or Dark, and Delete all chats. The default model also supports Auto mode when your workspace enables it. You can set the app language to English, German, Spanish, French, or Italian.

Shared chats

Shared chats lists conversations you shared via link with your workspace, plus conversations and workflows you shared with Langdock Support. You can open shared chats, stop workspace link sharing, and revoke active support shares. To share a conversation with Support, open the chat, click Share, select Support, and click Share with Support. To share a workflow with Support, open the workflow, click Share, select the Support tab, and click Share with support. Sharing a conversation gives authorized Langdock personnel access to your messages, tool calls, Agent instructions, attachments, and logs for debugging. Sharing a workflow gives authorized support staff temporary access to its definition and recent run debug data. Langdock removes sensitive data such as secrets, connection IDs, storage paths, email addresses, phone numbers, URLs, and file paths before Support receives the workflow data. This keeps your sensitive information protected when you share a workflow with Support. Support shares expire automatically after 72 hours. On dedicated deployments, the Support option is not available.

Custom Instructions

Add information about yourself or how responses should be written. When Active is enabled, these instructions apply in regular chat. Agent and Project chats use their own instructions instead. See the custom instructions guide for examples and setup.

API keys

If your workspace admin has enabled personal API keys and given you access, API keys appears in your Account Settings. This access controls whether the page appears. To create a key, your effective personal budget must be available. Personal API usage also counts toward the workspace spend limit. Personal API requests return an error instead of using a fallback model when your effective personal budget or the workspace spend limit is exhausted. See Personal API keys for setup and the tool guides.

Usage

On Langdock Cloud, the Usage page is available to all members. In BYOK and Dedicated Deployments, it is available when your account has a finite included usage limit. The page tracks included usage across a five hour session and a weekly window that resets every Monday. If usable Extra Usage is available, you can keep using all models after reaching an included limit, and the page shows a separate Extra Usage meter. Without usable Extra Usage, your messages use the cost limit fallback model until the relevant included window resets. In BYOK and Dedicated Deployments, a workspace spend limit can trigger the configured fallback before an included window resets. For how limits work, fallback behavior, and how to raise them, see Usage Limits. For practical ways to get more out of your limits, see Usage Tips.

FAQ

Use Account Settings for preferences that apply only to your own user account, such as personal settings, profile-related options, or individual configuration. Workspace-wide settings are managed separately by admins.
Confirm whether the setting is user-specific or controlled by the workspace. Some behavior may depend on admin settings, permissions, browser state, or whether you are signed into the correct workspace.
